Judy A. Brizendine

Judy was born and raised in Kansas. She moved to Seattle in her early 20s. While working at Boeing Commercial Airplane Group, she reared her one son in the Marysville, Washington, area. After her son graduated from the University of Washington, she moved to Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, for 14 years and now finds herself back in Seattle to be a present Grammy to her two young grandchildren.

Judy was on the Board of Directors for Idaho’s Family Promise for two years and served as Director of Volunteerism for a local Idaho church for almost four years. She works for the King County Permitting Division as an Executive Assistant.

Judy is an active member at Church by the Side of the Road in Tukwila, Washington, where she volunteers with the Prayer Team and Finance Committee and all the other little things needed to help keep a church family going.


James D. Croone Sr.

Professor James D. Croone Sr. recently joined Northwest University as an adjunct professor.  He also currently serves as director/professor at Seattle Urban Bible College located in the Seattle, Washington metropolitan area. 

One of James’s interests includes teaching an enhanced bible study in South Seattle (Friday Night Light), where he concentrates on Old and New Testament studies and urban missions. 

James serves on the pastoral team at Elevation Church in Kirkland, Washington, and resides with his wife Bobbie in Seattle, Washington. 


Homer L. Haynes

Homer Haynes, MBA, PMP, is originally from Chicago, Illinois. In 2000 Homer relocated to Renton, Washington. He is a member of Community Bible Fellowship Church, Seattle, Washington, where he serves as an elder.  Homer has been married to Patricia Haynes for 44 years. Together, they reared three adult daughters, one deceased, and are blessed to have six grandchildren. He is a singer, worship song leader, and former basketball player and coach.

Homer’s career path includes data processing manager, chief accountant, banking project manager, and information technology (IT) consultant. He is currently with Boeing’s Commercial Airplane Group. To date, Homer continues his 25-year career trajectory in IT. 

He brings Yield to the King Ministry (Y2K Ministry) servant leadership and compassion for marginalized populations. Homer embraces grace with accountability as a goal in serving Y2K Ministry clients.


Dr. Michael Ley

Dr. Michael Ley is a retired employee from the Department of Corrections.  Currently, he is the founder and president of New Beginnings Bible Ministries and serves as the operating officer and coordinator of all ministry-sponsored events.  New Beginnings Bible Ministries is affiliated with Rose of Sharon Pentecostal Temple-Kiononia under the leadership of Dr. Bishop A. L. Hardy.   

Dr. Ley also teaches at Bishop A. L. Hardy Academy of Theology, under the leadership of Dr.  Bishop A. L. Hardy who is the founder and president. Dr. Ley is one of their most tenured professors and a board member. 

Dr. Ley attends Manifested Glory Ministries in Kent, Washington, under the leadership of Barbara Stowers, Superintendent. He serves as preaching and teaching elder and he is also a board member for the church. 


Carol A. Wells

Carol Wells is a retired employee from North Seattle Community College and the University of Washington.  As a longtime community activist, she has always advocated for the oppressed and those in need. During her retirement, helping senior citizens has become her focus, and she has volunteered with Union Gospel Mission and the Senior Mayor's Office for Senior Citizens. 

She currently volunteers with the Central Area Senior Center, helping to bring the Word to members by typing and editing lessons for the weekly bible study class.  

Carol is a member of New Beginnings Christian Fellowship Church in Kent, Washington, which practices a Christ-centered ministry, making disciples of all people and addressing the needs of the total person.
